Add/Create a New Email Template

This is an article about creating a new email reminder template.

Add a new BCautorenew Email Template

  1. Click and open the user profile dropdown menu.

    You can only access BLS Portal if you have sufficient permissions. If you cannot access the BLS Portal, please contact your company's BCAutoRenew administrator.


  2. Click on Go to BLSPortal > Templates >Manage Email Templates and click on Add New Template.

  3. Select the required information and click Next.

  4. Fill in the template name.

  5. Type in your email subject and new message template.

    Using Merge Fields in Your Template

    A Merge Field is a placeholder for information or detail to be added to the message. Each Merge Field type specifies what information it is replaced with in the message the customer receives.

  6. Select Share, if you wish to enable others locations/branches to have access to use this template.

  7. Select Save.

    Don't forget to assign this as the template to be used for reminders. See Enable and Setup SMS and Email Reminders for more information.


Preview email reminder message

  1. After typing in your message template, click on the Preview button.
  2. To send a sample reminder message, enter your email address and click Send.
